This issue commonly occurs when the pump is still running, but the toilet won’t flush. The loss of pressure can sometimes be caused by a broken discharge elbow pipe. So let’s start by checking if you need to replace it! Begin by disconnecting the macerator pump system and shutting off the water supply. Then, disconnect the macerator pump system from the toilet and the pipes. Be prepared with your shop vacuum to remove all the water from the case.
